This course will help you create customer advocacy by focusing on how to interact more effectively with your customers and colleagues. You will be introduced to the DISC Advanced Personality type model and will get to know more about yourself and how to work within your team and interact with customers through a range of activities and facilitated discussion.

This second workshop in the Aspire program will start you on your leadership journey with HTG. In this 2 day workshop, you will get to know more about yourself and how your actions can influence others in your team, no matter what your role is. You will gain skills in coaching for high performance, making informed decisions, setting goals for yourself and your team and sharing your vision for success.

Part three of the Aspire program builds on the coaching and situational leadership skills gained in Aspire 2, as well as introducing you to strategic business planning, and developing your communication and presentation skills. You will leave the program with the skills to take your coaching to the next level, manage conflict, and build a high-performance team. You will have a greater understanding of yourself and have the skills to run professional meetings and deliver presentations confidently.

Ignite provides a comprehensive introduction to HTG’s Corporate Values, and how they underpin the culture of our business. You will engage in a series of activities and facilitated discussion in order to understand the behaviours that are expected in the HTG workplace, and how they relate to the company’s values.

This workshop will help you understand the financial considerations in operating a business, issues that may affect your business customers, and how your daily actions can impact the success of HTG no matter what your role is within the company. You will work through a business scenario to gain an understanding of Cash Flow, Profit and Loss and the impact decisions and actions can have on the financial outcomes for a business.

The Personal Effectiveness workshop is designed to help you focus your efforts on the important stuff, and to achieve better control of your time and in planning your activities. You will develop goals for your personal and business life, and work on strategies on how to implement them. You will learn practical time-management tools including calendar management, effective strategies to manage email, and tips on prioritising your To Do list.

Understanding your customer and their needs is the basis of Customer Centred Selling. This program is run over 3 x 2-day workshops. Participants will learn advanced sales skills including: Developing agendas and managing meetings, positioning and building rapport with clients, conducting a business review Writing a proposal, presenting a recommendation and managing a portfolio. They will also learn about themselves, their own personality style and preferences through DISC Advanced profiling.

Spark is a development program designed in house, to encourage, charge, electrify, energise, fire, fuel, generate and power up our people to think differently and step outside of their comfort zones. To uncover possibility in themselves they didn’t know existed. This program is targeted at high performers and top talent at HTG, and is designed to develop potential future leaders.

Speak Up!

Speak Up!

Speak up! is a public speaking course that was created and facilitated in house by two of our Senior Leaders. The course takes place once a week over an 8 week period and is designed to introduce people that may be nervous or uncomfortable with the idea of public speaking; or to sharpen the skills of people who are already in roles where they are speaking in front of people.
