Telstra Business Centre on the Gold Coast is looking for motivated, passionate and driven individuals to join our great place to work! The role of lead generation is to generate a number of warm, quality leads through a trusted relationship with new and existing customers. You will be required to book appointments for our amazing sales teams over the phone utilising exceptional customer service skills.

This role would suit people who love to speak with customers on the phone and build rapport with them. A role that can be flexible and could align well with someone who wishes to work school hours so they can still organise school ‘drop offs’ and ‘pick-ups’. We are looking for a great team player, who has a positive attitude and an outgoing personality.

Key accountabilities

  • Contacting both new and existing customers across multiple industry verticals to create new, warm leads over the phone.
  • Book appointments for our sales team.
  • Build trusted relationships across multiple industries.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers.
  • Data entry and system management.
  • Achieving set targets and objectives.
  • Business administration tasks.
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Required skills

  • Strong ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • A professional approach to calling customers.
  • Ability to handle customer objections.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven appointment setting experience is desired but not essential.
  • Problem solving skills.

  • Proven experience in customer service delivery desired.
