The role of a Techwell Business Technology Advisor is to proactively and reactively engage with our customers through face to face appointments at a customer's premises. Through such appointments, meeting both small to medium size customers, you will establish a core understanding of all opportunities and technology needs of the customer. Utilising your knowledge and expertise to deliver sales result, you will also provide an exceptional customer experience creating loyalty and referral business across your customer base.

The role would suit a sales professional with a winning attitude who can have fun whilst working towards exceeding performance expectations.

Want in?

You will need to possess an awesome, energetic attitude where finding positive solutions is part of your DNA. Specific industry knowledge of both telecommunications and the Telstra product and service offerings is preferred but not essential. Your ability to deliver professional written and verbal communications are necessary as are presentation skills.

 

Potential reward earnings range from $80,000 - $150,000+ p.a.

Key accountabilities

  • Effectively position technology solutions that deliver benefits to your customers and their business
  • Deliver a brilliant customer experience via relationship building
  • Manage face to face customer appointments
  • Create new customer referral business to increase customers in your client base
  • Preparation of customer presentations and proposals
  • Maintain a pipeline of current and upcoming sales opportunities
  • Work autonomously managing a customer base  
  • Complete sales orders in a timely manner with a key focus on attention to detail
  • Drafting and reviewing customer contracts
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ongoing self-skilling around emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvement

Required skills

  • An in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
  • Strong sales experience - business to business is not necessary but will be an advantage
  • Previous telecommunications or I.T. sales experience will be highly regarded
  • Motivated attitude, working to and exceeding above targets
  • Can work independently and as a team, collaborating with specialist team members to design tailored solutions
  • High-level communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Conflict resolution
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to prioritise
  • Competency in computer operating systems
  • Demonstrated sales hunting skills are essential
  • A drive to reach sales targets
  • Related technology industry sales experience will be essential
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change quickly
