In 2018 we've ranked number 37 out of 100 in the over 100 employee category. We're grateful to be featured alongside so many great companies who, like us, see the importance of creating a strong culture which lays the foundation for our business success.
HTG Solutions was created back in 2005, when Tim Tocco & Paul Gunther opened Telstra Retail Store in Helensvale. Nowadays there are multiple business units under the HTG umbrella and the boys have never waned their drive and commitment to having an infectious culture within their business, shared by their people.
Community - Giving Back
We've always been focused on giving back and we truly believe our business can make a difference in the world - so we can help change the lives of others. Over the past year we've developed a number of B1G1 initiatives where we've been able to raise funds for those in need all around the world. Our retailers had a trivia night, our marketing team held Freaky Fashion Friday’s, our finance team raffled off a car park and we held a Chicks at the Flicks across the whole business. We also participate in many local charities including Day for Daniel, White Balloon Day and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Our employees are rewarded and recognised through a number of events and awards throughout the year. We are guided daily by our values which include friendship, trust & integrity, professionalism, curiosity and customer advocacy. Our monthly values awards are driven by our people where they nominate their peers across workgroups. Our Jewel Quarterly event recognises top sales and customer advocacy performance across our whole group who then are in the final running to win a full expense paid trip, for the Diamonds award. Last year our ‘Diamonds’ travelled to Fiji where 20 of our top performers had a 4 day retreat with the directors. Our HTG Connect program encourages teams to get together outside of work, where 50% of the cost is subsidised by the directors. Last calendar year we were proud to have funded 22 HTG Connect events.
