Training & Support

You’re never on your own when you’re a part of the HTG Sales team. You’ll always be supported through learning labs, focus sessions and training at every stage of your career. Our team members are always happy to share their knowledge, and we all work together to find better ways of doing things. In fact, one of the things we love most is being a part of an organisation that takes pride in learning. The continuous development of our individual and team skills helps us to achieve our business goals as well as our personal goals.

As a newbie, you’ll be introduced to our learning labs, which run every five weeks. Refreshers as well as daily coaching and reflection opportunities reinforce the learnings from lab sessions and will continue throughout your career. Team leaders actually strategise our learning requirements to ensure that every team member is the best they can be, not just for customers but also for the individual. And when you’re out on the floor, managers provide continual issue resolution as the need arises. The support you’ll experience is considered, thorough and nurturing at every level.

Our learning and development opportunities come in the form of both internal delivered courses, which are tailored to our selling environment and external training, which has a technical and product focus.

While training opportunities are fantastic, it’s the culture of learning that really sets HTG apart. Teams work together to find better ways of doing things and share knowledge and experience with each other to improve the team as a whole. Our teams are made up of like-minded professionals with the perfect mix of youth and experience as well as equal gender balance. Managers are there to provide support, coaching and reflection to nurture and grow team members. We also undertake both internal and external training sessions to cover all our products and services, right down to a technical level.

As for opportunities, at HTG, you can take your career in so many directions. Sales roles exist across multiple brands at local or regional levels. You can also move into leadership roles or to different departments such as Marketing and HR.
